Our guests are recommended to lodge with the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center located right off the light rail (MAX) transit line for optimal convenience for transport to and from the airport.

Portland has an excellent public transportation system!

You likely will not need to rent a car. You can easily reach the Hyatt by taking the Max Red Line from the airport to the Convention Center station.

Overnight parking is $20 — sorry!

We understand folks will opt to lodge elsewhere and that's totally peachy!

We highly recommend finding a place nearby public transit that leads to the Hyatt or to be prepared to park nearby the hotel to utilize our free shuttle to the rehearsal dinner and ceremony.

Transit Fare & Travel Tips

IMPORTANT: Face masks are required on all Portland public transit!
Portland transit utilizes a ticket system called Hop.

Single-use paper tickets can be purchased for $2.50 for 2.5hrs of transit time, or $5 for an all-day pass.

Or, if you want to be hip and paperless, you can pay with your phone via Hop Mobile App or by setting up your mobile wallet to allow transit payments (Google Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay).

Just go here to learn more about all the ways you get and use transit tickets.
Remember to tap your paper ticket or your phone to each Hop terminal before boarding.

Tap before boarding every time!

No, seriously — tap before boarding every time! It's your proof of payment to ride.
One Hop ticket can be used for the Max, Streetcar, or buses. Single-use tickets can be purchased at platform machines.

Hop Ticket Fares include Adult ($2.50), Honored Citizen ($1.25), and Youth ($1.25).

If paying by mobile wallet/phone app, you will not be charged more than $5 a day, as a second tap transaction brings you to an all-day pass rate.

Easy peasy, right?!

Don't know how to get hither and thither? Don't fret! We will be offering a free shuttle service to and from the Hyatt to the ceremony/reception spaces. Whoohoo!

If you're choosing to adventure beyond our celebration events (as you should!), Portland offers the valuable resource of a Trip Planner to give you step-by-step directions of how to get to your destination.

IT'S SO GREAT!
