“For Athena and Alex’s big day, I’ll get them a thoughtful gift from the heart, like, uh… a set of pillowcases, or, geez I dunno, a nice, uh... bowl?”
But what’s this? You checked the registry too late, and the only thing left is a big serving spoon!
“What will they think of me now!?”
We want to save you that stress, but more importantly – and if you’ll excuse a moment of schmaltz here – having you in our lives, and having your company in October, is the gift, truly. We hope our wedding weekend can be as much of a celebration of our friends and family as it is about us.

Athena's father, Bruce, was an Oregon State Park Ranger. As a little girl, Athena was regaled with tales of her dad feeding deer carrots from the palm of his hand. This likely infused Athena's impressionable li'l kid head with adoration for animals and the natural world.

Cycling is an extremely portant part of Alex & Athena's lives. Raleigh Community Kickstand provides and repairs bicycles for low- to no-income individuals of Wake County. Alex and Athena (resident certified bike mechanic) routinely wrench on bikes for the organization.
